Ashish Gupta

CEO

Ashish brings more than 25 years of general management experience and has had leadership roles in marketing, sales, business development and products. Prior to Bugcrowd, Ashish was Infoblox’s EVP and Chief Marketing Officer responsible for worldwide strategy and operations for global corporate and product marketing at Infoblox, including brand awareness, go-to-market programs and demand generation initiatives. Ashish specializes in creating new markets and categories, positioning companies for growth, and developing differentiated business strategies in highly competitive industries. He has held leadership positions with other venture-backed and publicly traded technology companies including Microsoft, Telera (acquired by Alcatel/Genesys), Vidyo, Deloitte Consulting and Hewlett-Packard. Ashish lives in the Bay Area and spends most of his weekends with his family playing soccer, skiing or sailing.

Chairman, Founder, and CTO

Casey is the Founder, Chairman, and CTO of Bugcrowd. He is an 18 year veteran of information security, servicing clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations as a pentester, security and risk consultant and solutions architect, then most recently as a career entrepreneur. Casey pioneered the Crowdsourced Security as a Service model launching the first bug bounty programs on the Bugcrowd platform in 2012, and co-founded the disclose.io vulnerability disclosure standardization project in 2016. A proud ex-pat of Sydney Australia, Casey lives with his wife and two kids in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is happy as long as he’s passionately pursuing potential.

Prior to Bugcrowd, Mark served as CFO of Appirio, a leading SaaS solutions firm (acquired by Wipro), and held executive financial and operational positions at Nuance Communications, BeVocal (acquired by Nuance), Appshop, and Broadword Communications.

CMO

Andy brings 25+ years of marketing experience across a broad range of industries, including technology, healthcare, and consumer goods. Previously, Andy was CMO for C3, a leading software company in the artificial intelligence space. Prior to C3, Andy was SVP of Corporate Marketing and Communications at McKesson, a leading provider of healthcare services and information technology. Andy holds a BA from Carleton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In his spare time, he loves surfing, biking, skiing and taking long walks with his best canine friend, Winnie.

Dan Lascell has nearly 20 years of in-house counsel experience with enterprise technology companies. Before joining Bugcrowd, he spent more than seven years as SVP of Corporate Development and General Counsel of Appirio, where he was instrumental in both its acquisition of Topcoder (the world’s largest crowdsourcing community) and the company’s sale to Wipro in 2016. Prior to Appirio, Dan held senior legal roles at AmberPoint (acquired by Oracle), and Corning. He is an honors graduate of Hamilton College with a B.A. in music and Cornell Law School. Dan is an avid high-limit poker player and an animal rights advocate.

Mark is a technology executive with over 25 years of leading global software engineering and product management teams. Mark brings a wealth of experience across a number of technology areas to his role of Head of Engineering at Bugcrowd, from developing solutions deep in the technology stack, to applications and cloud solutions for end users and service organizations. Prior to Bugcrowd, Mark was SVP Product Engineering at Actian Corporation, and held multiple leadership positions at Oracle Corporation and Cross Access (acquired by IBM).

With more than 20 years experience in enterprise sales, Rick Beattie brings a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and strong understanding of the needs of today’s CISO. Beattie has a proven track record for building and accelerating revenue. Prior to Bugcrowd, he served as vice president of sales at Carbon Black and has held sales leadership roles at Q1 Labs and F5 Networks.

His unique perspective, customer focus, and concentration on innovation lead to solutions that address the needs of organizations, regardless of size, structure, or geography.

As VP of Product Management, Scott works with customers and industry leaders to align Bugcrowd’s solutions with the ever-changing threat landscape. Prior to Bugcrowd, Scott served as VP of Product Management at Cofense and as Deputy CISO for The General Electric Company.

Grant McCracken

Senior Director of Operations, Programs and Security

A long time veteran to Bugcrowd, Grant joined the organization as an Application Security Engineer in 2014. Since then, he has overseen the creation and maintenance of hundreds of crowdsourced security programs as a Solutions Architect, as well as led the Researcher Success, Support, and Security Operations groups. He has been hacking for nearly a decade and is an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). In his free time Grant enjoys writing and performing music, as well as staying active on running or hiking trails.
