January 2019 Hall of Fame

January 2019 Hall Of Fame

Bugcrowd is excited to announce our January 2019 Hall of Fame winners. Starting in 2019, we will only be paying 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the P1 P2 Paid Program Leaderboard, which was announced in the 2019 Researcher Incentive Programs blog post. The P1 P2 P3 P4 leaderboard will continue to be available and visible for the community but we will no longer be rewarding for that leaderboard. The reward amounts will not change for the P1 P2 monthly leaderboard winners ($3000 for first place, $2000 for second place, and $1000 for third place).

We are implementing this change to allow us to reallocate funds to invest in the new incentive programs and offer more researchers the opportunity to be rewarded for their work on the platform.

Time to get to it… here are the Hall of Fame winners!

A Private user rocked it for the month of January and takes first place with 280 points! Mrpeuch came in solid in second place with 275 points, and DDV_UA rounds out third place with 225 points.

Bugcrowd would like to thank our top performers by awarding the following bonuses:

  • First place – $3000 bonus
  • Second place – $2000 bonus
  • Third place – $1000 bonus

We appreciate all the hard work they do to make our programs successful and value their continued partnership with us!

Think you have what it takes to come out on top?

High severity bugs that result in critical security impact such as remote code execution or elevation of privilege earn the most kudos points. Submitting high severity bugs not only gets you bigger rewards, it can also help you get invited to private bounty programs faster.

Last but not least, thanks again to all of the Bugcrowd Researchers for all of their hard work and contributions! We look forward to our February Hall of Fame results!
