PHP Injection is an application-level vulnerability that enables a hacker to execute different cyberattack methods, such as Code Injection, SQL Injection, Path Traversal, and Application Denial of Service, depending on the context. PHP Injection is also commonly referred to as PHP Object Injection. PHP Injection attacks deliver inserted malicious code through a vulnerable attack vector, compromising the integrity of the target application. PHP Injection attacks can target either the runtime side of a server application or the end-user’s browser.
